Information we collect
For direct API use: your email address (from Stripe checkout) and subscription/billing records. Payment card details are handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.
Shopify app — exactly what's accessed
Installing the printqr Shopify app requests the write_products
scope. In practice this means:
- We receive a product's ID, handle, and title when it's created (via Shopify's webhook), so we can build the product's URL and generate a QR code for it.
- We store that generated QR code (as SVG and PNG), keyed to your store and the product, so it can be fetched again or attached as a product image.
- We attach the generated image to that product via Shopify's Admin API — this is the entire purpose of the write access.
- We do not access customer data, orders, or any other part of your store. We do not read or modify existing products beyond attaching the new image.
Access tokens
Your store's OAuth access token is stored so the automation can keep working without you re-authorizing on every product. Uninstalling the app revokes this token on Shopify's side; emailing us will remove our stored copy as well.
How we use it
Solely to provide the service: generating and delivering QR codes, processing subscriptions, enforcing plan credits, and responding to support requests. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your store's product data for anything beyond generating the QR code you're paying for.
Service providers
We use Stripe for payments, Cloudflare for hosting, data storage, and delivery, and Shopify's Admin API to read product data and attach images (for stores that install the app). Each processes data under its own privacy policy.
Your rights & contact
You may request access to, export of, or deletion of your account data — including uninstalling the Shopify app and removing our stored access token and generated images — by emailing jasoncole09@gmail.com.
